You can upload a csv files of floors and desks to create reservable desks within your space. Eden provides you with a template to support this upload. Once the desks are uploaded, you will be able to assign permanent desks to employees, block desks, or restrict desks to a specific neighborhood.
Instructions
On your Eden dashboard, go to Settings > Locations > Select a Location > Desks
Click “Upload CSV” to access the template
Click “Download Template”
Fill out the spreadsheet
Name: Assign an unique name to each desk. The name of the desk will be shown when employees reserve a desk and will also be used for reporting purposes.
Floor: Input the number of the floor the desk is on. If you want to upload desks to an existing floor, make sure the floor name matches the name under the “Sublocations” tab, otherwise, the system will create a new floor.
Neighborhood: Input the name of the neighborhood the desk belongs to. If you do not have neighborhoods set up, uploading the csv will create the neighborhoods on the dashboard.
Feature Tags (optional): Input tags for the desk. You can fully customize tags, but examples of tags may include, dual monitors, standing desk, floor mat, lamp, etc. Please make sure tags are separated by commas.
Once the spreadsheet is filled out, save the spreadsheet.
On your Eden dashboard, go to Settings > Locations > Select a Location > Desks
Upload the CSV you created
Click “Import”
Your desk should now appear in the “Floor Management” tab. Click on each desk to edit the details, assign neighborhoods and assign permanent desks.
You can also add a floor or a desk individually:
Go to Settings > Locations > Choose a location > Floor Management > Choose the Floor
Click “Configure” next to the floor plan
Click the desk icon and place the green dot at the desired location on the map
Click on each desk to add feature tags, edit the neighborhood, and/or permanently assign it to a user.
To delete a floor or a desk, click the location and the three dots on the top right corner. Click “Delete”
