When employees have a profile picture in Eden, their photo appears on the floor plan. This makes it easier for coworkers to see who's sitting where. Employees can add their own photo, or an admin can add one for them.
Add your own profile picture
Go to Settings > Your Profile.
Select Upload Profile Image, then choose the image you want to use.
Select Update Profile.
Add a profile picture for an employee (admins)
Admins can add or change a profile picture for any employee.
Go to Settings > Manage Users.
On the Users tab, search for the employee and select their name. Their profile opens on the right.
On the Details tab, go to Profile Image and select the attachment icon to upload a photo.
Select Save.
Pull profile pictures from Slack or Microsoft
Eden can also bring in your employees' profile pictures from Slack or Microsoft, so you don't have to upload them one by one.
To set this up, contact our Support team at [email protected].
How Microsoft photo syncing works
If someone changes their profile picture in Microsoft and you sync the directory again, Eden will not overwrite the photo already saved in Eden. The sync only adds a photo for users who don't already have one in Eden. This means a directory sync won't overwrite a photo someone has chosen themselves in Eden.
If a user wants their new Microsoft photo to appear in Eden, they have two options:
Upload the new photo directly in Eden, or
Remove their current Eden photo, then select Sync Directory to pull in the new Microsoft photo.
